TOMORA, the collaboration project launched by Tom Rowlands, a member of British electronic music legends The Chemical Brothers, and Norwegian art-pop artist AURORA, will make their China debut at the Strawberry Music Festival in two cities during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.

TOMORA officially formed in December 2025. Their debut single, Ring The Alarm, introduced the new project through recurring electronic alarms, deep bass-driven beats, and AURORA’s powerful, expressive vocals. In April this year, they released their debut album, Come Closer, which brings together elements of psychedelia, trip-hop, techno, and electronic dance music. The Chemical Brothers’ signature electronic impact collides with AURORA’s ethereal vocals, creating a new sound that is both dreamlike and highly charged with dance floor energy.

Following their debut performances in Manchester and London in March, TOMORA have appeared at major international festivals including Coachella and Fuji Rock. Their live show combines powerful electronic beats, pulsing lights, and hypnotic vocals, and has been described by the media as a “complete audiovisual work”. Sound of Violence praised their performance as “free-flowing and more alive”, with little pause between tracks. Neon lights, sci-fi visuals, heavy drumbeats, and constantly building electronic rhythms come together to create a live experience distinct from the artists’ previous work.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, TOMORA will make their China debut at Strawberry Music Festival, and this may also be their only appearance in China. There is no better way to experience this unique musical connection than to be there in person.
