Sandojo is named after a popular song and dance form from the southern part of Yunnan Province, and has brought this traditional musical form from the Yunnan ethnic minority culture into the new century.

Under the dual influence of reggae rhythms from the Caribbean and the performance styles of African musicians like FELA KUTI, Sandojo combines modern music rhythms with the drum beats from traditional Yunnan music to create his own musical style. At the same time, Sandojo adopts the DUB music approach from Europe to enhance the fluidity and spatial sense of their music.
