SHAO, formerly known as Dead J, is a highly acclaimed electronic musician, composer, and sound designer. He is the first Chinese artist to sign with the legendary German Techno record label Tresor Records. He has performed at numerous music and art festivals both domestically and internationally and is a long-term partner of the renowned Chinese theater director Meng Jingwei.

As a key figure and vanguard in China's electronic music scene, SHAO has been exploring the various possibilities of the abstract sound space, intertwining rich Techno compositions with diverse sound fragments to explore the dynamic changes of sound and space.
