Her creative aesthetic is shaped by the classic works of the 1960s and 1970s, and she weaves in the oriental temperament rooted in Chinese culture, along with the unique delicacy of female perspective and her personal experiences, forging a profoundly emotional beauty in her lyrics and melodies. Wang Yiling’s live performances boast diverse forms, brimming with humanistic emotion and the power of interaction. Rooted in traditional Chinese lyrical and melodic expression, her live setups range from an intimate solo of voice and guitar, to collaborations with musicians from across the globe—each show redefines her artistic boundaries and collectively shapes her musical identity.

Her self-produced debut full-length studio album Ode to Wither was released on the Start of Autumn in 2024, and is now available on major music platforms worldwide.
