响马 Bande
BIOGRAPHY
响马是由哈萨克音乐家马木尔创建于 2012 年的民族前卫乐团，现成员为马木尔、张东和夏力。2014 年，响马乐队受邀参演第一届明天音乐节；2019 年和 2024 年，ModernSkyWorldMusic 分别发行了他们的全长专辑《乌麦女神》与《九个响马》。
响马乐队演奏冬不拉、库不孜和萨满鼓等哈萨克传统民族乐器。面具和黑色长袍则是他们的另外两件乐器——神秘的远古气息，紧张潜行的律动，混合着躁动不安的人声呓语：他们创造着前所未有的哈萨克新音乐。
Bande is a national avant-garde band founded by Kazakh musician Mamur in 2012, with current members being Mamur, Zhang Dong, and Xiali. In 2014, Bande was invited to perform at the first Tomorrow Music Festival; in 2019 and 2024, ModernSkyWorldMusic respectively released their full-length albums "The Goddess Wu Mai" and "Nine Bande."
Bande band performs traditional Kazakh ethnic instruments such as the domra, kobyz, and shaman drum. Masks and black robes are their other two instruments—the mysterious ancient aura, the tense, stealthy rhythm, mixed with the restless whispers of human voices: they create unprecedented new Kazakh music.
