IZ is an outlier in the history of Chinese music.

They are mysterious figures passed down by word of mouth among Chinese music fans, and also a group of wild horses galloping along the bloodline of Kazakh traditional music. Over the years, from the early "Kazakh Folk Songs," "Ethnic Music," and "World Music" to the later "Kazakh Industrial Rock" and "Experimental Rock," the IZ band has continuously redefined its boundaries, ultimately embarking on an unwavering solitary journey.

Their music is filled with the murmurs of midnight, fragmented ruins of ancient Kazakh epics, and the majestic and cracking instrumental sound effects are engulfed by exotic rhythms from the future, propelling them to bow and delve into the unknown darkness.

"IZ" means "footprint" in Kazakh, a simple semantic concept that foretells the destiny of this genius band: constantly exploring, constantly changing, but never reaching a destination.
