D!AN was born in Beijing and spent her childhood living in various places such as the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This diverse cultural background has had a profound impact on her artistic creation. After graduating from the Animation Department of the Communication University of China, she pursued a master's degree in Tokyo and founded the artist group "XL-UNIVERSE" and the art space "SOMSOC GALLERY", focusing on cross-border creative works between art and music.

As a musician, she has signed with China's Modern Sky and Japan's electronic label UMAA, and composed the theme song for the 40th anniversary album of the classic game "PAC-MAN." Her works have been invited to perform at multiple international music festivals. In addition, D!AN has published picture books and collaborated across multiple renowned brands, such as Xiaomi, X-girl, New Balance, and Bandai Namco Entertainment. She is the first Chinese artist to hold a solo exhibition at the Tsutaya Books in Daikanyama.

After years of exploration, she has shaped a unique "electrostatic" style. She has broken the boundaries of traditional creation, blending Eastern romantic storytelling with electronic music. Through various expressions such as music, painting, installation, mixed materials, and animation, she showcases her unique artistic world. She personally directs and designs all music videos, even designing brand new musical toys for her collaborative singles.

Her representative work, "Central City Express," blends traditional musical elements, revolving around the concepts of "logistics" and "displacement," and imagines a romantic landscape connecting two cities. The musical compositions of D!AN always maintain an open and free attitude, not confined to the framework of popular music. Each piece is a new journey, filled with literary, dramatic, and exploratory elements of the unknown.
