inmediate
gratification
we′re
going undercover it feels safer in the underground i wouldn′t
trade you for another yeh you′re my only lover so take a look
and see what you can find see how much input can you put inside
your little mind a thousand birds flying over a grey sky make
the colours change i′m all alone and yet i sense that you′re
with me so i call out your name and when i feel this sensation
makes me feel like christmas morning call it inmediate gratification
close my eyes the whole worlds falling and like a little child
who′s on that special day out in the park and all around me
is happy and wild coz when i′m with you there′s no more dark
and it′s like looking outside a window all protected on a
stormy night slide inside like a hot cup of chocolate you
make me feel so warm and bright and when i feel this sensation
makes me feel like christmas morning call it inmediate gratification
close my eyes the whole worlds falling transforming i know
you like to play these games don′t worry coz i feel the same
but be careful of the ones you choose coz they′ll only end
up playing you
it′s so early
oh,
and it′s so early i′m still asleep i rub my eyes though i
have to wake up i′ll let you lie here for a while i wash my
face it makes me smile to think of all you said last night
you did last night and in the metro you hold me tight inside
the crowd we′ve reached our stop like every day we′re running
late let fate dictate it′s the only guarantee we′ve got and
that′s already a lot and there′s no promises to make so don′t
say we′ll meet don′t say you′ll wait there′s no point in watching
the clock coz it only goes tic toc tic toc oh, and it′s so
early i′m still asleep i rub my eyes though i have to wake
up i′ll let you lie here for a while (i wash my face it makes
me smile to think of all you said last night you did last
night and in the metro you hold me tight inside the crowd
so i wrap you round me it′s warm and soft inside your cloud)
and i won′t take your photos i′ll make nostalgia my enemy
i want to create new moments tackle new oponents you can put
away your sweet memories and replace them with new times file
up the oldies but goldies and make up some new rhymes you
pull me towards you we laugh you look me in the eye so i crack
a joke and look away coz i can′t face another goodbye and
now we′ve reached our stop like every day we′re running late
let fate dictate that′s the only guarantee we′ve got and thats
already a lot and there′s no promises to make so don′t say
we′ll meet don′t say you′ll wait there′s no need for you to
watch the clock the futures what we make so don′t paint it
black and before you know it i′ll be back oh, and it′s so
early i′m still asleep
no no no
(remix
of the song "you don′t love me" by dawn penn)
ian's theme
i
find a passport photo on the floor it holds the footprints
of pedestrian's who've been here before i pick it up turn
it round in my hands it's nothing much just a photo of an
ordinary man i look into his eyes and start to fantasize and
imagine all i can about the details of his life i wonder what
he dreams of at night? does he love his wife? who does he
talk to on the phone? does he ever feel alone? what does it
take to make him feel alright? and i guess that we′re all
about the same we′ve all got different cards but we′re playing
in the same game you could grab a car you could travel far
find somebody at the end of the world just like you are playing
the same chords staring at the same stars i am not pure i
am a coctail of confused blood a thousand contradictions make
us who we are i′m not saying life is beautiful and perfect
i′m just saying it′s beautiful kneeling down at the feet of
sound we′ve been making music since we been around they try
to turn it into a moneymaking machine but they don′t know
it′s just an instinct like a heartbeat so keep it clean first
sing it lay it down then think it they say that in the end
we all end up alone but though we′re on our own inside we′re
all the same and i love when it turns from day to night coz
without the dark we wouldn′t see the light and while one dies
another cries and another screams its way into the world like
a small prize and without the sun how could we thank the skies
for rain and without the rain how could we grow again? and
i love when it turns from day to night coz without the dark
we wouldn′t see the light and what would mountains be made
of if there were no ups and downs? and if it never rained
who would the sun shine for? and if there was no pain what
would we be fighting for? and while one dies another cries
and another screams its way into the world like a small prize
and though we′re on our own inside we′re all the same and
without the pain how could we grow again?

Desnudoman
i
grew up on an island now i′m living on desertland as the sun
wraps itself around me a hot wind blows i′m breathing sand
i′m laughing at our photos but it′s like walking past a sprinkler
on a hot summer′s day feeling that light spray against my
legs it doesn′t take the heat away it just reminds me how
good it could feel to dive between cool sparkling waves i
get home take a shower but i need you like the sea to refresh
me within come on make me feel free come over here and wash
my sins now i′m quenching my thirst with cold white wine watch
the sun dance through the liquid around the glass as if it
were all mine and for a while i′m satisfied but then i become
blind and dizzy and my thirst is magnified got the sun in
my eyes and i cannot see all i ask for is water won′t you
take me to the sea? so i need you now like the sea soft jade
refreshes me blue sets me free so i need you now like the
sea i came out of the desert and what did i find? a superhero
well equipped to blow up my mind he said "don′t be afraid
i′m here to quench your thirst" and he planted a kiss
that made my heart burst we flew over the city and over the
sea there′s a gentle breeze and he′s got his arms around me
so i know won′t fall and it makes me laugh to see how it all
looks so tiny and small when you′re up here so high cruising
the sky you realize nothing really matters at all no nothing
else really matters at all but you
roadmovie
i′m
on the road again i′m sitting at the wheel i need to spit
out rhymes explain the way i feel and no he hasn′t called
i guess it′s time to go i′ll focus on the night the headlights
and the road this one was meant to be forever don′t need you
any more don′t want your company and though inside it′s sore
my destination calls me now you can′t tie me down i′m going
to break free i′m walking through that door i′ll find that
destiny theres nothing more to say you′ve come around too
late stop asking me to stay stop begging me to wait don′t
want you anymore this one was meant to be forever there′s
nothing more to say you′ve come around too late you′re asking
me to stay you′re begging me to wait don′t need you anymore
don′t want your company and though inside it′s sore my destination
calls me...
